​Organizational Structure

Governance of non-profit organizations is a topic that receives far too little attention. Our model for Board Governance centers on the Carver Policy Governance model. (Carver Policy Governance model explained) This model creates a clear distinction between governance and management and how the two most effectively function. You may request a copy of our ENDS statements.

On paper our organizational structure appears typical. On a functional basis we will steer away from the traditional model and rely instead more heavily on the team approach. A Board of Directors exists but primarily to ensure that the designated CEO is effectively coordinating the activities of the various ministry initiatives. Each area of this center will have a primary facilitator who will be responsible for the management/administration of that particular ministry.
