Founder of Asociacion San Lucas in Moyobamba, a Comprehensive Community Health project in the North East of Peru.

Presently, Regional Coordinator for South America of the Luke Society, Inc (www.lukesociety.org), facilitating indigenous health professionals with a call for Rural Community Health endeavours.

Married to Arch. Iris del Pilar Urquieta, with two sons (Jonathan and Nathanael, now adults) and two grand daughters (Elishevah and Rivka, just toddlers).
